SSMA Series SSMA subminiature connectors are 50 ohm precision connectors designed to perform mode free to 35GHz. Extended frequency (HF) versions are available for performance through 40GHz. SSMA connectors are commonly used for applications where reduced size and higher packaging density are required. The standard SSMA interface utilizes a PTFE (Teflon) dielectric. PCI extended frequency versions may either be Teflon loaded or utilize an air dielectric with short dielectric support bead. PCI offers SSMA connectors for semi-rigid and low-loss flexible cable, receptacles and precision adapters which may be adapted for custom applications.
